Have you met Procrastination? She always has a story to tell. The more I try to avoid her, the louder she gets. She’s very persistent and I have to admire her dedication, her commitment to what she does. I wish I had that kind of determination.
Its taken a while but I finally realize that Procrastination is a freakin genius! She sets an intention and with pinpoint clarity, using whatever means possible, she accomplishes what she set out to do. Isn’t this exactly what we’re hoping to do when Procrastination suddenly shows up?
Sometimes what we see as our obstacles are really our greatest strengths.
So, how does this story end? I can tell you that Procrastination is still her old self, but I’m different when I’m with her. I listen instead of resisting and then I choose the story I want to tell at the end of the day. Some days I choose my own story and some days I still wander off with Procrastination.
